Job Summary

Lead the strategy and architecture for next-generation platform SDKs that power automotive IVI/digital-cockpit, industrial, autonomy, robotics, and other embedded markets. Build scalable SDK layers on foundational BSP software, drive virtualization and multi-OS support (RTOS, Linux/Ubuntu, Android, QNX), and oversee domain SDKs like camera and audio. Deliver world-class developer experience through tooling, CI/CD, testing, and ecosystem partner integrations while building and leading global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute platform SDK strategy and architecture across tailored SDKs for markets like digital cockpit, industrial systems/automation, and robotics.
•Architect SDK layers on top of BSP/foundational software with clean abstractions, cross-platform reuse, and scalability across SKUs and verticals.
•Lead virtualization and system software capabilities, including hypervisors/partitioning, VirtIO-based virtualization, workload isolation, and multi-OS SDK ports with OSV partners.
•Oversee development of domain-specific SDKs (e.g., camera and audio) and ensure they are modular, composable, optimized for hardware acceleration, and easy to integrate.
•Build and lead global engineering teams, driving quality rigor and partnering with product management and customers to improve market alignment and developer experience.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 240,800 - 412,800 annually

Key Requirements

•20+ years of experience in platform system software, platform BSPs, and SDK development and quality engineering in embedded markets (automotive, robotics, industrial).
•Deep expertise in embedded systems and low-level software, including multi-OS systems (RTOS, Linux, Android, QNX).
•Experience with virtualization technologies (hypervisors, VirtIO, partitioning) and building scalable platform capabilities.
•Proven success driving CI/CD, software quality, and release engineering, with experience scaling platforms across multiple products and markets.
•Demonstrated track record of building, scaling, and leading large, globally distributed engineering teams, with experience working with ecosystem partners and standard bodies.
