Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and undertake BS5837 surveys, tree condition assessments, and supporting desk-based studies.
  • •Produce clear technical reports, including Tree Survey Reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA), and Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS).
  • •Support senior colleagues with arboricultural inputs to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
  • •Provide construction-stage arboricultural advice and support.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, manage project information, and identify project risks, environmental constraints, and delivery challenges.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience within arboricultural consultancy, local authority tree officer roles, or a similar arboricultural environment.
  • •Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture or higher.
  • •Working knowledge of BS5837:2012, tree protection principles, and the UK planning system and development process.
  • •Strong technical writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Commitment to health, safety, and safe site-working practices.
