Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure HSSE compliance and site rules, including PTW process inspections, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and housekeeping/5S walkdowns.
  • •Supervise preventive/corrective maintenance for WTG and BoP equipment, providing first-line technical guidance and supporting major component replacements.
  • •Coordinate job readiness and safe dispatch processes (toolbox/job readiness checks, lifting/rigging readiness, return-to-service verification before SCADA handover).
  • •Manage troubleshooting and downtime control by interpreting turbine faults, monitoring performance, and driving corrective actions from recommendations.
  • •Supervise direct reports and contractors: manage attendance/work allocation, coach technicians to improve paperwork/reporting quality, and validate contractor progress with evidence/documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering (or relevant technical degree).
  • •5+ years’ experience in wind sector operation and maintenance oversight.
  • •3+ years as a Wind Turbine Technician (Vestas V90 experience preferred), including troubleshooting, up-tower repairs, and major component exposure.
  • •Wind turbine troubleshooting and planned maintenance execution with MV/HV substation and BoP coordination (switchgear, protection, transformers, MV cables).
  • •Team leadership skills covering contractor supervision, RCA support, strong reporting/action closure, and safe execution discipline.
