Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and maintain the Barakah onsite emergency preparedness training program while aligning it with offsite trainings.
  • •Manage the Nawah Emergency Preparedness Training Program Manual and related documentation covering planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation.
  • •File training findings and improvement opportunities into a formal corrective action program and track items to completion.
  • •Monitor availability of training facilities, equipment, and communications systems; validate simulator time scheduling to support training activities.
  • •Contribute to development/revision and delivery of the training program, oversee training matrices, maintain training database records, and help keep the Emergency Plan Training Program up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •High school certification.
  • •5 years of relevant experience, including 3 months in a nuclear power plant with demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience.
  • •5 years of experience related to nuclear emergency preparedness at an operating nuclear power plant.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another physical science discipline related to power plant operations (preferred).
  • •Certification as a qualified instructor for the material being presented.
