Food Scientist - Deli, Ham, Lunchmeat

Drive cost optimization, innovation, technology development, and quality improvements for prepared deli, ham, and sliced lunchmeat products. Own projects from concept through commercialization, including writing product specifications, planning and executing experiments, analyzing data, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Conduct bench top development, pilot plant testing, and scale-up at research and full-scale facilities, while ensuring regulatory labeling and food safety requirements are met and sharing findings to diverse stakeholders.
