Job Summary

Drive local, no-overnight-delivery routes to deliver hazardous material products safely and on time. You’ll load/unload and secure products, collect payments, and complete accurate delivery documentation while following DOT and FMCSR compliance requirements. The role includes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, vehicle cleanliness and maintenance checks, and ongoing product knowledge. You’ll also be home every night with guaranteed weekly hours even when there are no deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries using effective routes while complying with DOT and applicable regulations.
•Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring products are properly secured and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
•Collect payments and accurately document delivery information.
•Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including FMCSR, and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
•Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable daily, and report any maintenance needs.

Key Requirements

•Be at least 21 years old.
•Hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license with a Hazmat endorsement (or be able to obtain it once hired).
•Have a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass pre-employment screening (PSP) with no more than 2 combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
•Demonstrate excellent customer service and good written and verbal communication skills.
•Be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision and maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
