Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner daily with engineering, product, and data leaders as a trusted finance counterpart.
  • •Build analyses for build-vs-buy, pricing, and infrastructure decisions.
  • •Drive R&D budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning, including re-forecast cycles tied to hiring priorities.
  • •Make LLM/inference and cloud compute cost a core, closely monitored operating metric by building unit-cost models and monitoring spend.
  • •Own the relationship between usage, inference cost, and gross margin, modeling impacts of new products, pricing, and model/infrastructure choices for leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in FP&A / corporate finance, including meaningful experience supporting R&D, Engineering, or a technical/product org.

  • •Strong SQL (BigQuery a plus) and expert Excel/Sheets modeling with clean, maintainable model architecture.
