Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and continually evaluate project HSE activities against the project HSE plan and HSEMS requirements, including raising observation reports and corrective measures.
  • •Develop and implement field emergency response procedures and evacuation plans; orient employees on accident reporting and emergency actions.
  • •Provide HSE trainings (incident prevention, first aid, and safety awareness) and conduct daily toolbox talks (TBT) prior to site work.
  • •Ensure hazards and unsafe conditions are identified daily, violations are addressed and reported, and risk assessments are prepared, communicated, and updated.
  • •Inspect certified mobile plant and gears and HSE equipment (including harnesses, fire extinguishers, and site tools/equipment) with logs maintained and support incident reporting and resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of working experience, with 3 years of relevant HSE experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, with compliance to local and federal laws.
  • •Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
  • •Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
