Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts; assist with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • •Answer customer questions and resolve problems by listening, collecting data, and securing accurate answers; maintain privacy of customer account information.
  • •Receive and process new accounts and account changes (names, address, product changes) and complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.
  • •Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and use lead lists to generate additional business, meeting sales production goals.
  • •Oversee year-end reporting and banking-center level special projects, including key box and safe deposit box key audits; keep banking center work areas clean, secure, and well maintained.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •0 up to 3 years of New Account experience.
  • •Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
  • •Complete required mentor and learning plans, including Personal Banker Learning Plan/Teller Learning Plan (if applicable) and BPM Training (I-IV).
  • •Excellent communication and public relations skills, with solid math and bookkeeping abilities and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (10-key and telephone).
