Job Summary

Partner with Manufacturing and Fleet Operations leaders as a trusted advisor to drive organizational effectiveness as 1X scales into global production. Own complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and compliance, strengthen leadership capability through coaching, and support performance and workforce planning. Ensure adherence to California employment laws, wage and hour regulations, leave administration, investigations, and workplace policies while helping build scalable people programs and practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Build trusted partnerships with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Fleet Operations leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, engagement, and team performance.
•Lead complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, consistency, and compliance while protecting employees and the business.
•Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and partnership on people management, performance management, and organizational challenges.
•Ensure compliance with California employment laws, wage and hour regulations, leave programs, investigations, and workplace policies.
•Support organizational growth through talent planning, performance management, compensation processes, workforce planning, and scalable people programs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years managing employee relations matters in California.
•Expertise in California labor law, wage and hour regulations, leave administration, investigations, corrective actions, and employment compliance.
•Experience supporting manufacturing, logistics, operations, engineering, or other highly regulated, operationally intensive environments.
•Proven ability to influence leaders and build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
•Strong communication skills, judgment, and discretion for sensitive employee and business matters.
