Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
  • •Maintain complete, timely work order documentation and assist with pickup and delivery; travel to customer job sites when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and use them effectively.
  • •Have advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Be able to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Provide superior customer service with teamwork and verbal/written communication skills; EPA 608 certification is preferred (obtainable within 6–12 months).
