Job Summary

Provide technical support for power plant operation by performing inspections, troubleshooting, and analyzing plant performance metrics. Collect, trend, and evaluate operational data to recommend improvements in reliability and efficiency of electrical generation. Coordinate repair activities, support maintenance planning, and perform heat rate, root-cause, and outage-related analysis. Partner with stakeholders to develop reports, technical specifications, and quality/compliance support aligned with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support and emphasize safety and environmental programs while providing technical support to station process groups.
•Conduct inspections, condition assessments, and field measurements to support maintenance planning and evaluate repair options.
•Collect, trend, and analyze operational data to develop reports and recommendations for improving reliability and efficiency.
•Perform engineering calculations, root cause analysis, and Heat Rate analysis; identify risks of forced/partial outages.
•Coordinate repair activities and provide technical support during planned and forced outages, including contractor oversight and post-outage evaluation.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
•5+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.
•In-depth knowledge of power plant operation and systems.
•Ability to perform Heat Rate analysis and recommend improvement opportunities.
•Knowledge of Lockout-Tagout process and experience supporting compliance with applicable safety/environmental requirements.
