Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and develop new features for Canonical’s Python-based test automation tools (e.g., Checkbox).
  • •Invent new ways to enable remote, automated testing.
  • •Build the software counterpart to in-house designed testing hardware to support device enablement (e.g., graphics, hotplug, bluetooth).
  • •Write functional and performance tests to support hardware enablement and prevent regressions.
  • •Participate in international meetings 2–3 times per year.
