Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for leadership, management, and delivery of the global NFR capability for Securities Services Transfer Agency Operations.
  • •Implement and maintain NFR risk management processes and frameworks, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and treated within risk appetite.
  • •Own and continuously improve the Operations risk and control framework, driving consistent risk/control assessments and evidence standards.
  • •Lead governance forums and reporting, providing clear sight of emerging risks and incident trends and driving timely responses.
  • •Oversee operational resilience activities, third-party/vendor oversight, and NFR change gating (process/technology/location) with secure-and-controlled-by-design controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead and manage NFR capability supporting Transfer Agency Operations globally, including governance, risk strategy and culture.
  • •Implement strong NFR risk management processes and frameworks in line with HSBC risk appetite and the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF).
  • •Own and continuously improve the operations control environment, including control design, control execution quality, and control testing/assurance readiness.
  • •Drive end-to-end management of NFR issues (audit, regulatory, internal assurance, control failures), including root cause analysis and measurable remediation plans.
  • •Provide effective NFR oversight for vendor/third-party arrangements and embed NFR into change delivery with secure-and-controlled-by-design controls.
