Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and/or review GAAP-compliant financial statements, supporting work papers, and disclosure checklists, serving as a key point of contact for the external audit.
  • •Own quarterly and annual financial reporting controls to ensure they operate effectively and evidence is complete.
  • •Own review of complex, judgment-heavy areas (including commissions) as part of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
  • •Conduct technical accounting research for complex/non-recurring transactions, applying GAAP/authoritative literature and drafting well-documented memos.
  • •Evaluate and adopt new accounting standards, develop/maintain accounting policies, and proactively resolve emerging close-process complexities in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Big 4 experience (or similar technical accounting advisory background) and CPA certification (or equivalent) required.
  • •Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for financial reporting (including relevant ASC areas).
  • •Experience researching FASB Accounting Standards Codification and Big 4 interpretive guidance.
  • •Experience supporting financial reporting controls and external audits.
  • •Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and judgment in complex, fast-moving environments.
