Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows.
  • •Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack, integrating external data sources.
  • •Create intuitive self-service capabilities and interactive tools that allow operators to explore data and scenarios independently.
  • •Design alerting and monitoring systems to proactively identify mission opportunities and risks, and collaborate on KPIs and success metrics.
  • •Optimize platform performance by improving data models and query optimization strategies, implement caching/aggregation, and provide day-to-day operator support with escalation as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of software or data engineering experience (data analysis/data science considered), including 1.5+ years hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS.
  • •Demonstrated experience building dashboards, applications, or pipelines for operational end users.
  • •Working proficiency in ontology design and pipeline authoring using PySpark, plus familiarity with code repositories or Pipeline Builder.
  • •Solid Python and SQL skills with familiarity in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • •Active US government security clearance (minimum active Secret); ability to obtain and maintain higher clearances such as TS/SCI as required.
