Vision Scientist - PICO Lab - San Jose

Develop and evaluate next-generation imaging algorithms for PICO VR/MR/AR devices, spanning the end-to-end imaging pipeline from camera capture to display rendering. Build perceptual metrics for visual quality and comfort, run psychophysics-based experiments and early vision models, and create perceptual-driven ML/AI imaging algorithms. Design eye-tracking-related display features, validate via user studies, and develop simulation platforms and computational prototypes to accelerate hardware and software optimization.
