Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, oil filter service, fuel filter service, transmission flush, and vehicle inspections for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Based on certification level, complete repairs including diagnostics and maintenance across brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension, electrical systems, and interior/exterior components.
  • •Maintain shop equipment, keep the work area clean and safe, and dispose of fluids according to regulations.
  • •Conduct advanced diagnostics and handle light to major repairs, including troubleshooting specialized trucks and systems (e.g., complex hydraulics, generators, electrical systems, hybrids, and onboard computer systems).
  • •Create and maintain vehicle history/maintenance records, coordinate with vendors for parts/repairs, provide roadside assistance as needed, and perform moderate design/fabrication tasks including welding.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
  • •3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
  • •Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • •Some ASE Automotive or Truck Certification or other related certifications (preferred), and ability to maintain ASE status with ongoing training.
