Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for substation components, procurement package development, and design review in line with IEEE/NESC/NERC standards and regulations.
  • •Design and develop transmission/distribution substation deliverables including single-line/three-line drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, bus arrangements, grounding grids, and lightning protection.
  • •Develop electrical calculations and studies such as load calculations, equipment sizing, short-circuit study, protective device coordination, protective relaying, and switchyard layouts.
  • •Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and coordination inputs with owners and other disciplines, including construction safety and phasing plans.
  • •Support teams with technical guidance, training for entry-level engineers, and preparation of technical reports and presentations while maintaining quality, compliance, and data/documentation integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design work for large capital projects.
