Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and treat occupational illnesses and injuries, including post-offer medical history review and recommendations for referral per protocol.
  • •Administer drug and alcohol testing per company policy, and provide first aid/nursing or emergency care within the LPN scope of practice.
  • •Maintain accurate injury, OSHA, and workers’ compensation recordkeeping using an electronic medical record.
  • •Partner with workers compensation adjuster, case managers, and providers to support timely resolution of worker compensation claims.
  • •Support safety and ergonomics initiatives, wellness initiatives, and required programs (respiratory protection, first responder, and bloodborne pathogen), including new-hire safety/medical orientation.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience; occupational health experience preferred.
  • •Current, active, unrestricted state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA standards and recordkeeping requirements.
  • •Highly effective written/verbal and interpersonal communication skills; multi-lingual preferred.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
