Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel in the field and support jobsites and work in the shop as needed.
  • •Plan work procedures (scheduling) and coordinate solutions such as parts and PM service with the Equipment Manager.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers.
  • •Examine equipment issues and discuss the nature and extent of damage/malfunction with stakeholders.
  • •Ensure equipment-team safety compliance, conduct safety training/toolbox talks, and stay current with new technology via equipment manufacturers.

Key Requirements

  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers.
  • •Examine equipment damage or malfunctions and discuss findings with the superintendent, operator, or project manager.
  • •Plan work procedures/scheduling and coordinate possible solutions such as parts and PM service in conjunction with the Equipment Manager.
  • •Ensure the equipment team follows safety best practices and company policies, including conducting safety training and toolbox talks.
  • •Travel in the field and support jobsites and the shop as needed; CDL is a plus.
