Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine and approve locations for regulatory, warning, and guide signs, coordinating placements with concerned entities.
  • •Review and approve street names and house numbers across design and implementation stages to maintain addressing-system integrity.
  • •Develop and maintain specifications and standards for traffic signs, guide signs, and road markings to support safe, consistent wayfinding.
  • •Prepare and implement comprehensive emirate-level addressing system plans in coordination with the Roads Department, including project schedules and KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Urban Planning.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree (4+ years with a Bachelor’s degree).
  • •Experience developing and maintaining specifications/standards for traffic signs, guide signs, and road markings.
  • •Experience reviewing engineering plans/designs for signage and markings and verifying compliance through field visits.
  • •Ability to apply BIM, GIS, and digital infrastructure modelling with e-permit systems for design validation and site-compliance oversight.
