Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on large projects and frameworks for renewable energy developers, mostly in UK and Ireland.
  • •Undertake FEED and detailed design activities for energy storage systems, including associated grid connections, control and metering.
  • •Provide support and exposure to bidding, project and quality management.
  • •Design BESS balance of plant (BOP) systems and develop grid connection solutions (11kV–400kV) for energy storage and renewables.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions and support project delivery and quality activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Suitable experience in a FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer role.
  • •Strong understanding of renewable generation and energy storage, including battery storage technologies and chemistries.
  • •Experience designing HV grid connections, metering, and control requirements for BESS installations.
  • •Knowledge of grid connection requirements (including G99, G100) and electrical plant items/control systems (transformers, cables, circuit breakers, HV Protection & Control).
