Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with EMEA GTM leadership and account teams to design and drive the technical GTM and adoption strategy for large-scale EDW migrations to the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
  • •Architect and continuously refine programmatic, scalable migration processes and detailed technical guides for field teams and partners.
  • •Build and direct automated assessment tooling from customer engagements to support migration planning and execution.
  • •Serve as tier-3 technical escalation for highly complex or stalled migrations across must-win EMEA accounts.
  • •Enable and scale regional presales migration capability by mentoring and coaching Solutions Architects and Specialist SAs, while feeding technical insights back to product R&D and publishing technical thought leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 112,700 - 140,325 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting experience influencing technical executives (e.g., CIOs, CISOs, DBAs) and driving EDW modernization strategy.
  • •Deep understanding of legacy data warehouse modernization architectures and workloads (e.g., Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Exadata).
  • •Expertise across EDW migration scope and progression to the full Databricks Data Intelligence Platform capabilities.
  • •Hands-on lakehouse mastery, including Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
  • •Experience designing and implementing big data architectures in major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
