Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect equipment, parts, and blades to ensure they are in good repair and sanitary before setup.
  • •Identify raw materials used in the grinding process and verify correct lot number usage in accordance with formulas.
  • •Read and follow written/typed formulation instructions; complete production paperwork using basic math skills.
  • •Perform QA checks and documentation for the raw area, and complete appropriate transactions using an RF terminal or scanner.
  • •Maintain shift change communication and control losses of product, including washdowns for changeovers and proper disposal of trash.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to operate a grinding machine safely and maintain a clean work area.
  • •Knowledge of GMP and safety as it pertains to the grinding process.
  • •Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and perform written/typed formulation steps.
  • •Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs as required and perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Held a position for six (6) months within the past twenty four (24) months with the same employer.
