Job Summary

Technical owner leading end-to-end electrical architecture for notebook platforms, guiding design across silicon, board, firmware/BIOS, thermal and mechanical domains. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers, translate design specs into system-level electrical requirements, and drive architecture decisions for high-volume laptop programs from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

•Own laptop system design architecture and technical direction across CRB and customer platforms.
•Translate design spec and use-case requirements into system-level electrical requirements and design constraints.
•Act as the primary technical interface between external customers and AMD internal functional teams.
•Drive cross-team technical discussions, issue triage, and debug closure for multiple programs.
•Provide architecture guidance for key laptop components, including panel, memory, storage, and interface subsystems; identify technical risks early and drive mitigation plans.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CNY 588,140 - 840,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering, or related field
•10+ years of experience in notebook/laptop system design or platform architecture
•Strong hands-on experience in notebook platform architecture, board-level integration, and cross-functional system bring-up
•Proven experience engaging directly with ODM/OEM engineering teams to drive technical alignment and execution
•Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional technical discussions
