Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve technical direction for static and product reference data aligned to data strategy and target architecture.
  • •Set and govern engineering principles for reference data services, including modelling, versioning, lineage, interoperability, and backwards compatibility.
  • •Drive AI-enabled engineering practices to improve quality, developer productivity, and time-to-market.
  • •Lead modernization and technical debt reduction to simplify platforms and reduce operational risk.
  • •Embed security, risk, and compliance by design while improving reliability, observability, and incident triage outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong hands-on engineering background with effective communication across organizational levels.
  • •Strong experience in enterprise-scale data platforms and data engineering (batch and/or streaming) with reliability and operability focus.
  • •Proven ability to set and drive adoption of engineering standards such as CI/CD, testing, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • •Strong understanding of data quality plus lineage/metadata concepts to build trusted datasets and services.
  • •Comfort operating in regulated environments with audit and control requirements.
