Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement and continuously improve the Project HSE Management Plan aligned with contractual requirements and regulatory frameworks.
  • •Act as Owner’s Engineer (PMC) for HSE, overseeing EPC contractors’ HSE performance across all work packages.
  • •Lead hazard identification and risk assessment processes (HIRA, HAZID, TRA) and maintain risk registers with mitigation strategies.
  • •Oversee HSE compliance during transmission line works, substations and renewable plants; enforce PTW and safe work practices across sites.
  • •Lead incident investigations using RCA methodologies and implement CAPAs; ensure proper reporting and communication to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil); Postgraduate qualification/diploma in Industrial Safety / HSE Management preferred
  • •15+ years of experience in HSE management for power transmission, substations, and renewable energy projects
  • •Proven experience in PMC / EPC roles for large infrastructure projects and multi-package EPC environments with strong contractor management
  • •Experience with international standards and multilateral-funded projects preferred
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
