Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead procurement of direct and indirect materials required for manufacturing operations.
  • •Manage supplier negotiations and supplier management for assigned commodities.
  • •Improve MRBR metrics, past-due open POs performance, schedule agreement management, and DOH inventory performance.
  • •Act as the main contact for supplier base management at the Juarez facility and support plant assessments (OpA, MMA).
  • •Provide training and guidance to buyers and lead cost-out savings and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • •5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •5+ years working with local and foreign suppliers in a contractual format.
  • •3+ years working with SAP.
  • •Bilingual English/Spanish and experience with MRP systems, just-in-time concepts, and production processes.
