Job Summary

Supervise and evaluate mechanical maintenance activities for assigned process equipment at the La Barca distillery, ensuring safe, continuous, and efficient operations. Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance; monitor equipment condition; diagnose mechanical faults; and perform repairs to minimize downtime. Own work orders in the maintenance system, run post-intervention tests, support root-cause analyses, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to KPIs, Manex (Manufactura de Excelencia), quality standards, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute, supervise, and evaluate mechanical maintenance for assigned process equipment according to Asset Care standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.
•Plan and carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, including inspecting equipment visually and technically to detect anomalies.
•Diagnose mechanical failures, repair faults, and ensure quick reactivation without compromising safety.
•Manage maintenance work orders in the maintenance system to prevent unplanned failures, including participating in plant general shutdown activities.
•Participate in or lead root-cause analyses, execute Manex (Manufactura de Excelencia) and quality management standards, and report performance while supporting investment project inputs.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance processes, preferably in the beverages industry.
•Engineering background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field.
•Ability to execute maintenance and installations for transmission mechanical equipment, electric motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical panels, and related electrical knowledge.
•Proficiency with MS Office and SAP PM, including interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and HMIs, plus knowledge of measurement equipment.
•Spanish fluency; intermediate English is desirable, with availability for shift work and weekends/holidays.
