Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture and interpret business and regulatory requirements driven by major initiatives within Finance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • •Develop integrated risk data architecture supporting all risk types with consistent, integrated, traceable data for regulatory and business use.
  • •Create business information and logical data models aligned to business needs and integrated with business and application architectures, enabling metadata capture, consistency, lineage, and traceability.
  • •Support definition of business terms and ensure correct, consistent, and traceable representation across models, data flows, and solutions.
  • •Ensure compliance with BCBS 239, Basel/CRR, IFRS, and other applicable regulatory requirements aligned with the domain architecture, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong professional background in risk management within a banking or financial services context (e.g., credit, market, counterparty, or liquidity risk).
  • •Competence developing ontologies, business information models, and logical data models (including normalised and dimensional models) plus data definitions, mapping specifications, and data flows.
  • •Good understanding of data warehouse architectures and methodologies, including familiarity with the Data Mesh framework and data products.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory and data management requirements in Finance and Risk areas, and how data architecture supports compliance and governance.
  • •Fluency in English and strong communication/documentation skills to convey complex ideas to business and IT professionals.
