Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with learning and setup of required machine equipment for the tube and core division, working in a quick and safe manner.
  • •Operate and support 17” winder equipment set ups, including mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
  • •Operate cutters and perform machine preventative maintenance on equipment related to the carpet yarn line.
  • •Interpret Oracle production orders and enter required Oracle data; report and track production information such as scrap, machine efficiency, machine down time, and paper usage.
  • •Maintain machine logs, report quality measurements and metrics, and assist other crew members with setups, packaging aspects, and quality requirements.
