Job Summary

Monitor pipeline and process facility performance to improve efficiency, maximize revenue, and minimize OPEX. Build hydraulic models and optimize crude heating systems, gas plant processes, and utility contract rate structures. Manage demand response and DRA programs, support capital projects with an energy-efficiency lens, and collaborate with Control Center, Operations, Accounting, and electric utilities. Serve as an energy management SME for troubleshooting and equipment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor pipeline schedules, flow rates, crude qualities, and temperatures to guide operations.
•Prepare hydraulic models and optimize systems based on utility rate structure and DRA impacts.
•Optimize crude heating and provide engineering support for gas plant processes including compression, separation, stabilization, and vapor recovery.
•Review utility contracts and rate structures, prepare cost curves, and manage utility budgets and accruals.
•Manage DRA and demand response programs and support capital project design from an energy-efficiency perspective.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
•3+ years of experience in pipeline and/or process facility operations.
•Experience with midstream process equipment such as crude heaters, heat exchangers, separators, stabilizers, compressors, and NGL recovery units.
•Experience with fluid hydraulics and hydraulic modeling using hydraulic process modeling software.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to independently manage highly detailed work under tight deadlines.
