Key Responsibilities

  • •System optimisation — Work with engineering teams to improve performance, reduce downtime and drive technical improvements.
  • •Mechanical & electrical maintenance — Diagnose and repair faults using advanced tools and techniques.
  • •Safety & compliance — Ensure full adherence to LOTO, electrical safety and environmental standards, maintaining detailed CBM records.
  • •Infrastructure support — Maintain site utilities and electrical distribution systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • •Team collaboration — Partner with production teams and mentor apprentices, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • •Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within FMCG, manufacturing or industrial environments
  • •Hands-on CBM (condition-based maintenance) experience
  • •Certifications in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics or rotating machinery (advantageous)
  • •Experience using CMMS systems
