Job Summary

Lead KeyBank’s technology compliance program by providing second-line oversight of technology initiatives across digital platforms and emerging innovations. Partner with Risk, Technology, Legal, Operations, Product, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Relations to translate regulatory expectations into actionable guidance. Oversee governance routines, review first-line risk assessments and technology change proposals, and provide expert oversight of AI/ML, automation, cloud-enabled workflows, and crypto-adjacent use cases, while building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide second-line oversight of technology initiatives to ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations and supervisory expectations.
•Lead the strategy and maturity of the technology compliance program aligned to ERM frameworks, risk appetite, and operational risk standards.
•Review and challenge first-line risk assessments, technology change proposals, model documentation, AI/ML implementations, and digital product enhancements.
•Oversee emerging technology risks related to AI/ML governance, digital assets/crypto-adjacent use cases, and automation/cloud-enabled workflows.
•Build and develop a technology compliance team; drive governance routines, risk identification/monitoring, and timely issue remediation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, risk management, law, technology, or related fields.
•Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, technology risk, or related functions within a regulated financial institution.
•Strong knowledge of federal and state banking regulations (including OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC, CFPB, FFIEC), UDAAP, and technology/model risk expectations.
•Proven expertise overseeing technology governance and digital banking compliance, including AI/ML or emerging technology risk.
•Demonstrated experience providing credible challenge, producing regulatory-quality documentation, and interacting with examiners or internal audit teams.
