Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and optimize gas turbine static and rotary systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
  • •Perform GD&T, define assembly procedures, and prepare drawings with manufacturing guidelines.
  • •Carry out FMECA to support safety and operability assessments; support FRACAS activities.
  • •Review designs and simulations and generate testing guidelines.
  • •Identify project risks and plan mitigation while developing junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or related field).
  • •Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity, and heat transfer.
  • •Experience designing gas turbine externals/accessories and rotating components (e.g., disks, shafts, couplings, gearboxes).
  • •Proficiency with mechanical design tools such as Solidworks or Siemens NX.
  • •Experience in simulation/analysis and related engineering activities (e.g., FEA/lower order methods) with 5–15+ years overall.
