Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the provision of legal advice and support for assigned complex project/deal matters, independently from a legal perspective.
  • •Provide legal support across contract interpretation, disputes, change in contractual terms, and legal advice for critical decisions.
  • •Oversee legal risk identification and provide inputs to mitigate risks to protect project interests.
  • •Review and supervise development and maintenance of templates of legal agreements and manage review of agreements and contracts for the assigned project.
  • •Lead working group level negotiations and presentations with key stakeholders and support relevant project companies/ies on disputes or contract amendments; assist with selection of external legal partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Laws degree.
  • •5–8 years’ experience in projects law or legal function, including at least 3 years in a management role.
  • •Extensive depth of legal knowledge with good expertise in project finance, regulatory and policy matters.
  • •Ability to identify potential legal risks and mitigate them.
  • •Ability to draft and negotiate agreements for a project and provide trusted, strategic legal advice.
