Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to aviation, structural and other emergency incidents as part of a fire and rescue team.
  • •Conduct rescue operations and support casualty care when required.
  • •Operate firefighting, rescue and specialist emergency equipment.
  • •Maintain vehicles, personal protective equipment and breathing apparatus (including SCBA).
  • •Manage control room activities and dispatch emergency resources; complete operational checks, logs and incident information accurately.

Key Requirements

  • •Two to five (2–5) years of fire/rescue service experience, including two (2) years as a firefighter at an ICAO Category Five (5) airfield or above.
  • •Shall be certified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role.
  • •Hold fire and rescue qualifications at least equal to: ICAO Firefighter and applicable NFPA certifications listed in the posting.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based dispatch/control systems.
  • •First Aid/Basic Life Support certification (essential); SCBA Maintenance Technician qualification is desirable.
