Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the end-to-end revenue accounting process, including customer contract review, revenue recognition conclusions, and monthly close activities under ASC 606.
  • •Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and ensure they are accurate, complete, and supported in line with company accounting policies.
  • •Review revenue-related reconciliations across deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, contract assets/liabilities, accounts receivable, and other order-to-cash balances.
  • •Manage preparation, review, and approval of customer contracts, partnering with Sales, Legal, Business Development, Revenue Operations, and Program Finance on deal structure and revenue guidance.
  • •Serve as an ASC 606 subject matter expert, mentor the revenue accounting team, and support audits and audit readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant accounting experience with technical revenue accounting under ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
  • •Strong revenue recognition experience reviewing complex customer contracts and reaching ASC 606 conclusions.
  • •Experience leading revenue accounting close activities, including review of journal entries and revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes and how technical accounting decisions impact billing, collections, reporting, and controls.
