Key Responsibilities

  • •Support site EHS targets and objectives, including developing and maintaining goals aligned to corporate and business group EHS initiatives.
  • •Facilitate location risk assessments, establish targets based on key EHS risks, and communicate updates across all shifts.
  • •Support EHS training and zero-incident EHS culture campaigns; coordinate engagement of the site MESH team and EHS compliance evaluations.
  • •Manage EHS data (e.g., injuries/illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, action items) using established EHS data platforms such as Benchmark.
  • •Coordinate IH assessments, participate in incident investigations, manage corrective action closure, and support layered process audits and emergency response team activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR 5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety.
  • •At least 1 year of experience in EHS program management and/or employee EHS training.
  • •Ability to work within Eaton’s no-immigration-sponsorship policy for this role (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, F-1, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, etc.).
  • •Residency within a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC (active-duty military exempt).
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental discipline, plus OSHA and environmental compliance management experience.
