Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on the assigned sanitation team to complete tasks in the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • •Clean and sanitize processing and packaging equipment and maintain general housekeeping standards.
  • •Develop working knowledge of all production areas (including Cake, Pastry, and Toast) to support facility needs.
  • •Operate powered cleaning equipment and manual/non-mechanized tools safely during sanitation tasks.
  • •Learn and follow proper Allergen Elimination Procedures while working independently to maintain efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • •1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • •Train to clean and sanitize assigned production equipment and areas according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • •Ability to safely operate powered cleaning equipment (including lifts/booms, scissor lifts, pressure washers, foam applicators, steamers, and compactors).
  • •Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet, in subzero temperatures (with PPE), and in confined spaces while following Allergen Elimination Procedures.
