Job Summary

Build and test scalable software products for Visa’s global payments ecosystem, working within agile squads to design code and systems that prioritize security, scalability, and reusability. Key Responsibilities

•Design code and systems that improve Visa’s scalability, security, and reusability across payment technology solutions.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to develop best-in-class software solutions and create design artifacts for multiple technical offerings.
•Improve product quality by contributing to agile squads, valuable service technology, and new business/payment flows.
•Develop robust, scalable products for end-user merchants, B2B, and business-to-government solutions using modern payment service platforms.
•Analyze and debug issues, write unit and integration tests, and support pilots of new technology capabilities that enhance e-commerce experiences.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (or 0 years with a PhD), or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
•Experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications with strong object-oriented design and programming concepts.
•Experience building REST-based web services and web applications using Java and the Spring framework.
•Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, or jQuery.
•Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), plus microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling.
