Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own Eon’s security strategy, roadmap, and budget, briefing the CEO, executive team, and board.
  • •Build and lead the internal security function, including hiring, structuring, and developing the team.
  • •Own compliance posture across SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP, including audit management and continuous readiness.
  • •Lead security engineering and operations, including secure-by-design alignment, detection/response, vulnerability management, and incident/crisis response.
  • •Support enterprise growth by advising customers in security reviews, RFPs, and due diligence, and representing the security program externally.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in senior security leadership (CISO, VP Security, or Head of Security) at an enterprise SaaS or cloud company.
  • •Proven track record building and scaling a security program from the ground up, ideally in a high-growth startup.
  • •Deep, hands-on knowledge of cloud/SaaS and infrastructure security and data protection.
  • •Direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP programs, including audits and certifications.
  • •Executive-level communication skills, comfortable presenting to boards, executives, and enterprise customers; experience recruiting and leading a security team.
