Job Summary

Own experimentation and measurement end to end: define metrics, design A/B tests, run rigorous analyses, and decide what ships. Key Responsibilities

•Own experimentation end to end: design A/B tests, select metrics, run statistically rigorous analysis, and decide what ships.
•Build and own the metric layer across activation, trial start, trial-to-paid conversion, retention curves, LTV, and learning outcomes.
•Run deep dives to identify drivers of retention and pronunciation score improvement, and translate findings into roadmap changes.
•Turn behavioral and speech-scoring data into models for churn/conversion propensity, lesson recommendation, and personalization.
•Partner across growth and the ML team to measure acquisition performance (CAC, payback, incrementality) and evaluate speech model quality in the wild.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years in data science or product analytics, ideally in a consumer subscription app or fast-moving startup.
•Deep experimentation experience, including power analysis, variance reduction (e.g., CUPED), and handling multiple comparisons.
•Strong SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels or equivalent) with experience working against production databases.
•Fluency with the consumer subscription funnel: install-to-trial-to-paid, cohort retention, LTV, and paid acquisition measurement.
•Experience with product analytics and experimentation tooling (Mixpanel and GrowthBook on PostgreSQL).
