Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and define system-level requirements for complex L11 rack-scale AI solutions integrating Dell IP and partner IP into a deployable rack.
  • •Determine system specifications, interfaces, and operating parameters across compute, mechanical, thermal, software, and diagnostics to ensure hardware/software compatibility.
  • •Coordinate design and integration of subsystems into complete rack-level systems meeting performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
  • •Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of rack designs, including factory enablement for large-scale production.
  • •Engage with customer teams and coordinate with Dell engineering SMEs across mechanical, thermal, software, supply chain, services, and factory teams; conduct benchmarking, testing, analysis, and root-cause diagnosis with documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 157,250 - 203,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with system-level architecture and integration of rack-scale or data center solutions across compute, mechanical, thermal, software, and diagnostics.
  • •Knowledge of computer architecture and software architectures; compute system design; Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
  • •Requirements management and System Requirement Specification (SRS).
  • •Testing strategies, root-cause problem solving, and troubleshooting with cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
