Key Responsibilities

  • •Support mine permitting strategy, baseline studies, operational support, and reclamation/remediation for clients.
  • •Develop proposals, schedules, and budgets; create project proposals and assessment approaches for mine permitting work.
  • •Work in project teams to develop and execute deliverables including environmental and permitting strategies and technical reports/memorandums.
  • •Design, plan, and oversee field programs; manage, analyze, and interpret data with technical review and quality control.
  • •Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff; support client relationships and promote a “Safety-First” focus.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Biology, or a related field with a strong background in regulatory compliance and permitting; graduate degree preferred.
  • •Minimum 7 years of professional experience in natural resources, permitting, consulting, or an adjacent field.
  • •Understanding of state and federal regulatory mining regulations and NEPA.
  • •Knowledge of mining-related environmental practices and standards.
  • •Demonstrated experience delivering work products with strong communication skills in a consulting environment.
