Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain data connector and ingestion services for a variety of industrial data protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, MQTT, Kafka, ODBC, Modbus)
  • •Implement data contextualization for a variety of use cases and create automated workflows for internal and external usage
  • •Integrate with AI-powered functionality (e.g., AI function calls, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, generative AI) within the platform.
  • •Ensure platform scalability and uptime for high-volume industrial data
  • •Embed observability logs, metrics, lineage, and alerts customers can utilize

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •12-15 years of related experience OR an advanced degree with less experience.
  • •A detailed understanding and working experience with cloud native technologies, services, and architecture.
  • •Detailed knowledge of IoT or Edge devices and an understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, constraints, and risks.
  • •Working experience with databases and programming languages including MongoDB, Postgres, MSSQL; Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python, Lua; frameworks like Angular/React; CI tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions); Cloud (Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform; OS (Windows/Linux); OpenTelemetry; Playwright; OAuth 2.0/RBAC; Microservices/REST API; Data platforms/integrations (Inmation, Aveva PI Connect, Microsoft Fabric).
