Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and evolve internal developer platform capabilities supporting development across Abnormal.
  • •Own high-leverage projects across CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
  • •Work across Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems to keep the Golden Path fast, reliable, and intuitive.
  • •Shape AI-native abstractions and workflows consumable by humans and AI agents.
  • •Collaborate closely with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, and partner teams to deliver multi-quarter initiatives.

Salary: USD 149,200 - 214,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a similar role.
  • •Proficiency accelerating engineering outcomes using AI tools across discovery, design, implementation, and rollout of software systems.
  • •Experience or strong interest using LLMs to improve developer workflows (e.g., failure summarization, smart code generation, AI-native CLIs).
  • •Familiarity with the stack, including Python, Golang, Bazel, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
  • •Hands-on experience with CLI development and YAML/Jinja2-style templating, including modern type hints/typing discipline and testing frameworks.
