Job Summary

Drive Sierra’s financial planning and forecasting to translate strategy into clear budgets, forecasts, and performance measurement. Own key planning workflows, support monthly/quarterly close with budget-vs-actual variance commentary, and build unit economics frameworks (LTV, CAC, NRR drivers). Build revenue and cost data pipelines and reporting frameworks to deliver reliable analytics. Partner cross-functionally across Engineering to GTM to improve decision-making in a high-growth AI business.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and drive financial planning and forecasting processes across revenue, cost of sales, GTM, R&D, capex, and IDSW; partner with Corporate FP&A to integrate into consolidated plans, board reporting, and budget vs. actuals.
•Support monthly and quarterly close from an FP&A perspective, including budget vs. actuals and variance commentary.
•Develop and track unit economics frameworks (LTV, CAC, CAC payback, LTV:CAC, and contribution margin by segment) and deliver actionable performance insights.
•Build and own data pipelines and reporting frameworks that underpin revenue and cost analytics, with a bias toward automation and AI-native financial operations.
•Drive cross-functional alignment on goals by building stakeholder buy-in and enabling effective decision-making and execution across the organization.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 225,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or investment roles at a high-growth technology company, with exposure to investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or similar analytical environments.
•Deep fluency in SaaS and ARR-based business models, including building an ARR bridge, decomposing NRR drivers, modeling cohort retention, and explaining enterprise unit economics.
•Experience building revenue models and customer analytics datasets in SaaS or cloud, including customer-level or segment-level ARR analysis.
•Exceptional financial modeling skills, building complex multi-driver models from scratch in Google Sheets (scenario frameworks, sensitivity analysis, dynamic forecasts).
•Proficiency in BI and data tools such as Hex, Omni, Looker, and SQL, with the ability to pull and validate data independently.
