Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical leadership across one or more critical domains, owning the design and evolution of large-scale, business-critical systems.
•Set architectural direction by leading system design and making high-leverage technical decisions in alignment with long-term strategy.
•Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, resilient technical solutions and influence roadmap trade-offs.
•Operate across the full system lifecycle from discovery and architecture through production operations, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
•Raise the technical bar by defining engineering standards, guiding design reviews, mentoring senior engineers, and driving initiatives to improve velocity, quality, and resilience.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical foundation in computer science or closely related discipline, supported by formal education and/or equivalent industry experience.
•Extensive experience building and operating production systems at scale (often aligning with 10+ years).
•Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design, with the ability to apply concepts to high-scale problems.
•Proven ability to design, write, and evolve high-quality software in one or more modern programming languages with maintainability, performance, and operational robustness.
•Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to decompose ambiguous, multi-dimensional problems into effective technical outcomes.
